Imagine the glorious smell of fresh baking bread wafting through your home and eating it warm from the oven. That’s what you’ll be able to enjoy after just one lesson. In this fun group workshop you will learn a simple, yet wonderfully effective technique for producing delicious breads that you can replicate in your own kitchen. Even if you’ve never baked before, you will learn to produce two different doughs that will go on to make at least four different breads. And then we all sit down to eat your glorious fresh bread with cheese, meats, salad and wine!
I'm an enthusiastic artisan baker and chef, and before moving to London I ran my own cookery school in the Basque area of France as well as a successful catering company in Paris. Come and share my passion for baking and discover the secrets of making light, soft, delicious bread. I want to dispel the myth that making your own bread is a messy, hit and miss affair - it is, in fact, a fun and creative pastime! In these hands-on classes you learn a simple, yet wonderfully effective technique to produce delectable breads, which you can replicate in your own kitchen – all you need is a domestic oven and a pair of hands!
We focus on the South of London, where we're based, because you come to our kitchen for group classes. From June 2013, we will aslo have classes in Greenwich. We can teach you in your own kitchen, but please contact us to find out if we can serve your area.
