This 3-hour, evening workshop will show you how to make a range of mixed drinks from the perfect Bloody Mary and Mojito to classic Daiquiris and modern Brambles. Expert tips on shaking, muddling, throwing, and garnish making as well as stocking the ideal home bar are just portion of this rousing, sometimes comical session that also offers tidbits of history and humour you can use to delight friends, family, and coworkers. Scheduled monthly, this session can be booked for individuals or groups of up to 12 people.£75 per person or £100 per couple.

During our 20-year collaboration, we have written more than 30 books, including Shaken Not Stirred®: A Celebration of the Martini, Cuban Cocktails, and The Mixellany Guide to Vermouth & Other Apéritifs. We are recipients of the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2011 Communicators of the Year Award, whilst our 2-volume masterwork, Spirituous Journey: A History of Drink, won the coveted Gourmand World Cookbook Award for Best Drink History in the UK in 2009 and 2010. Jared Brown is also the Master Distiller of the multi-award-winning Sipsmith Distillery. We have traveled the world spreading the gospel of great drinks from the North America to Europe with a hefty dose of tongue-in-cheek humor and loads of surprising facts.
Workshops are conducted near Hammersmith. For corporate or private sessions, we can also travel to a venue of your choice with an additional charge for travel within a radius of London, Oxford, or Cheltenham.
Full payment is required to secure your individual place at a workshop upon booking. For groups bookings larger than 2 people, a 50% deposit is required upon booking to guarantee placement and the balance must be received 5 days prior to the actual workshop. For gift vouchers, full payment for the booking plus £5 processing fee must be received before vouchers are posted. Both gift vouchers and eVouchers will be valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
You may change to another workshop or day provided you notify us up to 14 days prior to commencement of a workshop. Cancellations are not accepted within 14 days of a workshop. Refunds are not issued for missed workshops or for gift vouchers or eVouchers that have lapsed past their expiry dates.
