I will introduce you to five whiskies from different regions, teaching you about the style and history of the whiskies and helping you to discover what kind of whisky you prefer. The tasting may include world whiskies (such as Japanese drams) to further widen your whisky exposure.
I fell in love with whisky nearly five years ago and haven't stopped on my pursuit to try as many amazing drams as possible. As a journalist by trade, I decided to focus on writing about whisky in 2011 and started my site, Miss Whisky (www.misswhisky.com), which covers whisky events, tastings, new releases and the people behind this great spirit. Every two weeks, I feature an interview of a woman working in the industry as part of my Whisky Women series, which aims to show that women love and help create this drink that can often be seen as falling into a man's territory. I live in London – a current hub for whisky launches – and am keen to share my passion with you, whether you're new to whisky, have loved it for years or are sure you hate it (though I'm sure I can convince you otherwise!).
I can cover corporate tastings in most areas of central London (zones 1-4). All other tastings will take place in a location in zones 1-2 which I will set up.
